Welcome to Greek Life

Welcome to the University of Houston, home of the Houston Cougars! College is often referred to as the best four years of your life, and as Greek men and women, it’s what makes our time here in college a memorable one.  Being a member of a Greek organization opens so many doors and provides you with many possibilities for growth.  By joining a Greek organization, you can expect to create life-long friendships, give back to your university and surrounding community, excel academically, have the ability to network and of course, have lots of fun along the way.  From Homecoming to Frontier Fiesta, you can expect to see fraternity men and women getting involved, holding leadership positions, and making memories that will last a lifetime. Greek life at the University of Houston continues to excel, and it is through our outstanding members who truly make it great.  I can honestly say that being a member of a sorority has challenged me to uphold high morals and values, and it has pushed me to greater heights and accomplish more than I ever thought possible. If you have never thought about joining a Greek organization before, I encourage you to take a closer look and get involved--find an organization that will help you achieve your goals for the future.  Thank you for your interest in Greek Life and I hope that you will soon find a home among one of our 17 outstanding fraternities and sororities.
